Having begun with beads and wire, Jesse Amaryllis Tyler started Everything Zen Jewelry and discovered a constantly evolving artistic outlet using torch and metal. The mesmerizing twists of her designs are born through hues of flame and silver flashes. Her new techniques have been refined in silversmithing classes at The Art League in Alexandria, VA. Jesse creates one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the spirit of those that wear her artwork. She resides and creates in Washington, DC.
About Jesse Amaryllis:
I have lived all my life in the DC area and the Gulf Coast of Southern Florida. I was influenced by the marble monuments and inspirational architecture of Washington, DC as well as the soothing sandy beaches of Florida’s Sun Coast. When I moved back to DC, I was taken with the art scene in the city, from music to fine art and crafts. Striving for the calm of the Gulf beaches of Southern Florida, I try to bring some of that energy to my life in DC. Having always had my hand in some kind of art since a young age I have finally found my niche in metalworking. I love working with Sterling Silver. Fabricating and shaping the metal, witnessing my designs evolve organically. The mesmerizing hues of flame and silver flashes inspired a business plan. With the desire to create and the techniques learned in a silver smithing course, I began a journey in Jewelry Design and Fabrication. I hope you enjoy my pieces as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
